How many countries contribute to a single jar of Nutella

Ingredients used to make Nutella are sourced from all over the world. The Ferrero International which is where they actually make the Nutella is in Italy but there are factories in Europe, Russia, North America and South America. The ingredients on the other hand, are imported from all over the world. The hazelnuts are shipped in from Turkey, the palm oil is from Malaysia, the cocoa is sourced from Nigeria, the sugar is from both Brazil and Europe and the vanilla flavouring is imported from France. So that is 6 countries in total needed to make just 1 jar of Nutella.

The ingredients from all over the world are shipped to the Ferrero International as mentioned above which is where the Nutella is made. The ingredients are sent to all the factories around the world in Italy, Europe, Russia, North America and South America and it is then made into the jars of sweet hazelnut spread.
